OK so the twins clearly tweeted "What's Your Number" as a song title but the RTE today confirmed it as "Waterline".
The twins probably tweeted a lyric from the song - maybe to give fans a clue to what the song will be about.
I kind of think the title is a bad one... It doesn't sound Jedward-y at all

I don't have a problem with the title at all and desire it to become as iconic as Waterloo is.

I copy this tweet which I'm all for: Mairin @pixieplanets Waterline a fantastic European pop song Nick uses word Waterline as metaphor for falling in love.loved it straight away so did the boys.I don't know how she knows the twins love it. I hope they do!

It’s one that will appeal to every age group. It has a very modern sound and I’m confident that it’s the perfect song for Eurovision.” It's a quote from Linda see... from this www.eurovision.tv/page/news?id=45803&_t=listen_to_the_irish_contenders_today

I've asked her and posted a link to this thread in the hopes we get more posters chattering away long into Eurovision. Jedward are bloody well going to go the Eurovision 2012, aren't they?

Here's my totally lame theory. A lot of people have assumed that "what's your number" refers to a phone number, but what if it's related to the title? What if it refers to the numbers on the waterline marking (plimsoll scale) on the side of a ship? Because the girl's cargo of love is weighing down the boy. Um, the sooner we hear the song, the better!

Whats your number? we're going down The waterline is rising and we might drown... Its not that is it? I think we are putting a lot into the title because its all we have at the moment..the title Lipstick doesn't sound great on its on..but its an amazing song...so hopefully once we hear it, it will all make sence and the title will sound a lot better
